Alaska's Guide to Farm to Early Care and Education

This course introduces how Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) works with the Alaska Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to create positive impact among children, families, and communities. ECE educators will learn about the three core components of the Farm to ECE model, including strategies for and Alaska-specific guidance on purchasing local foods, gardening, and agricultural education. The course will also discuss the use of Alaskan cultural and traditional foods.
